Vail Friends of Dance has presented tens of thousands of dollars to dance students and teachers with financial assistance over the past 35+ years.  The funds donated to and raised by dancers and Vail Friends of Dance remain in our community, benefiting the children of Eagle County residents. This ability is the achievement of which we are most proud!

Company dancers, family members and the VFOD Board raise money to finance our programs throughout the year. Fundraising efforts include: the Rotary Duck Race, Butter Braid sales, Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea sales, program ad sales, silent auctions, babysitting and more!

As a 501(c) 3, Vail Friends of Dance raises funds that go directly to the Vail Youth Ballet Company’s productions and performances. These local and affordable performances are for the community to enjoy!  Signature performances include the annual holiday favorite, “The Nutcracker”, with 4 performances in mid-December!  Other performances include Spring Showcase and “Cinderella”, with shows taking place in April and May.
